About entreverge

entreverge is a new model of business organizing that leverages the leadership of greater Portland’s business community to build supportive relationships around local businesses–with a scalable vision and a long-term commitment to the people, place and prosperity of Maine.

The Team

The entreverge organizing team is led by Johann Sabbath, a Portland native who returned to Maine last year to bring people together around big ideas. The team includes June Usher, Assistant Branch Manager at Bangor Savings Bank; Mike Carey, Auctioneer at Tranzon Auctrion Properties and PROPEL Chair; Nick Bouquet, Associate at Evergreen Partners; and Will Thomas, owner of Tri-Maine.

Our Vision

We believe that entrepreneurs are the innovators of the greater Portland area’s business community. When the economy struggles, they innovate, work harder, and work together. These individuals and their companies deserve our recognition and support. Thus, we created the entreverge Awards, a new forum to pay tribute to their skills, passion, and commitment. Five winners will receive free publicity and a package of pro bono consulting services provided by top leaders in the greater Portland area business community. entreverge is produced by PROPEL, the young professionals networking and education organization inspired by Realize Maine and formed in partnership with the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce. PROPEL’s network of young blue, white, green, and no-collar business leaders was created to help members reach their greatest professional potential and community value.
